Acceptance of Terms

By downloading or using Pebu, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the app. These terms apply to the Pebu iOS application and any related services operated by Lunipod.

The App & License

Pebu grants you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, subject to these terms and the Apple Standard End User Licence Agreement. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the app.

Your Content

Everything you record and write in Pebu belongs to you — we claim no ownership of your journal. Your transcribed entries are stored securely in your account so they remain available to you; your voice recordings stay on your device (with an optional iCloud backup for Pro subscribers), so you are responsible for their safekeeping. You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from the app's Settings.

Pebu Pro Subscription

Pebu is free to download and use. Pebu Pro is an optional auto-renewing subscription that unlocks additional features including AI insights, Ask Pebu, the Weekly Life Tape, and iCloud audio backup.

• Free trial: New subscribers receive a 7-day free trial. You will not be charged until the trial period ends.
• Billing: Subscription fees are charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase and at renewal.
• Renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Cancellation: You can cancel at any time in your Apple ID account settings. Access continues until the end of the paid period.
• Price changes: We will notify you of any price changes in advance, as required by Apple.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Pebu to:

• Record or store content that violates any applicable law
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the app
• Circumvent any technical measures in the app

Disclaimer of Warranties

Pebu is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or meet your specific requirements. Voice transcription accuracy depends on your device, environment, and Apple's speech recognition framework (which may use Apple's servers).

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lunipod is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Pebu, including loss of journal data. Because your voice recordings live on your device, we recommend Pro subscribers keep the iCloud audio backup enabled.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Lunipod operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
